FAMILIES and creatives of all ages are invited to enjoy a week of artistic fun and inspiration at The Art House in Eastbourne this February half term, from Saturday 14th to Sunday 22nd February 2026.
With a range of drop-in activities, workshops and creative experiences, The Art House offers something for everyone looking to make, paint, learn and play during the school holidays.
Nestled in the heart of Eastbourne’s Little Chelsea, The Art House combines a welcoming café serving artisan coffee, breakfasts, lunches and treats with a vibrant creative studio offering artistic activities for all ages. Throughout the half-term week, visitors can enjoy:
- Daily Pottery Painting – Drop in any day the café is open to paint pottery pieces such as mugs, tiles, moneyboxes and themed items, with all materials and guidance provided. Ideal for families, couples and individuals alike.
- Children’s Creative Sessions – School-holiday-themed arts and crafts activities are available for children, including clay modelling, slime making, t-shirt painting and other fun projects (booking recommended).
- Workshops for All Ages – From glass fusing and lino printing to potter’s wheel taster classes and polymer clay jewellery making, adults and older children can book into creative workshops designed to develop skills and spark imagination.
- Café and Relaxation – While creating, visitors can enjoy fresh artisan food and drinks, with vegetarian and vegan options available alongside traditional favourites.
- Free Children’s Creative Sessions and Meals – The Art House also offers funded creative sessions and meals for children aged 8–15 on free school meals during school holidays (booking via The Art House website).
