EMERGENCY services were called to Royal Parade in Eastbourne on Friday evening (7 November) following a collision involving a pedestrian.
The incident occurred at around 5.50pm and involved a man in his 90s and a car. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
The driver of the car was not injured.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collision and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
