DETECTIVES, investigating a serious assault in Eastbourne, have charged a man with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.
A 66-year-old man remains in a serious condition in hospital following the incident in Canute Close on 26 October.
Cameron Grocutt, 24, of no fixed address, is charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm. He has also been charged with driving whilst disqualified.
He has been remanded to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 8 November.
