Woman critically injured after motorcycle crash in Pevensey

A 19-YEAR-OLD woman remains in a critical condition after a motorcycle collided with a wall in Pevensey.

Emergency services were called to Wallsend Road shortly after midnight on Friday, July 10.

The motorcycle rider, a 28-year-old man from Reigate, sustained serious injuries, while his passenger, a 19-year-old woman from Croydon, suffered serious and life-threatening injuries.

Both were taken to hospital for treatment. Sussex Police said the rider has since been discharged, but the passenger remains in a critical condition.

Officers investigating the collision are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

They would also like to hear from anyone who may have relevant CCTV, dashcam footage or other information about the incident.
