A MAJOR new festive attraction is set to return to Eastbourne later this year, with organisers promising a ‘magical winter experience’ for seven weeks across the festive period.
The Christmas Ice Rink, which was previously located at the Enterprise Centre, will now have a new home at The Waterfront, Eastbourne.
It’ll take place from November 21 through to January 2, 2027.
The Winterland event will host traditional market stalls, a vintage funfair, and a real open-air ice rink, allowing skaters to glide under festive lights in a picturesque waterfront setting.
A Christmas market will feature a selection of independent traders offering handmade gifts, artisan food and seasonal treats. The market is expected to showcase a range of local and regional businesses.
Winterland is expected to draw significant footfall to the Sovereign Harbour area during the traditionally quieter winter months, providing a boost for local businesses and the visitor economy.
