POLICE are investigating following reports of an assault on a man in Langney Road, Eastbourne, in the early hours of Thursday morning (9 October).
Officers were called to the scene around 1am and have been conducting house-to-house enquiries as part of their investigation.
They are also reviewing local CCTV footage in an effort to establish what happened and to identify those involved, including the potential victim.
Anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage, or information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact police on 101, quoting serial 47 of 9 October.
