EASTBOURNE Borough is inviting local families to enjoy an afternoon of football and children’s activities this Saturday (10 October) as the club prepares to take on league leaders Welling United.
Following an impressive victory away at Carshalton on Tuesday, excitement is building at Borough ahead of another important fixture.
The club’s Octopus Junior Activity Zone will offer plenty of entertainment for younger supporters, giving families the chance to enjoy activities alongside the football.
Hundreds of local schoolchildren have been offered tickets, while Octopus Energy customers have also been invited to attend.
The club hopes the event will encourage families who have never visited before to experience the atmosphere of a matchday and perhaps inspire the next generation of Borough supporters.
On the pitch, Eastbourne Borough will be looking to continue its 8-win run against Welling United, who currently sit top of the league.
With an FA Cup fourth qualifying round clash against Salisbury also on the horizon, there is plenty of excitement surrounding the club.
