POLICE are investigating after three men were stabbed during a violent incident in Seaside Road, Eastbourne, on Thursday evening (14 August).
Officers were called at around 8.20pm following reports of a fight. A man was found with potentially life-threatening injuries, while two others sustained minor stab wounds. All three were taken to hospital for treatment.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.
Detectives are working to establish the full circumstances and have increased patrols in the area to reassure the community.
Police are urging anyone who saw what happened or who has information that could assist the investigation to come forward.
